BEEKEEPING  SECRETS

Beekeeping investment secrets that other beekeeper do not want you to know.

1. The first is that you can start making money without having any money by catching bee swarms and selling them to beekeepers for R750 – R1000/swarm.

2. Bee Removals are as easy as get the certificate and get to work. Remove a hive from homes/shops for a fee. Put the removed swarm in a Hive and add it to your apiary to start producing for the next years honey flow.

3. You can earn more than R 6000/year by only visiting your hive 7 times during the year, with the correct management program and training. This is an opportunity to invest with minimum input, but maximum returns.

4. Start Breeding with Queens and earn up to R100 per Queen cell. With the correct management practices and training you can breed 15-30 Queen cells/week. This adds up to R1500/week or R6000/month.

CSI BEEKEEPING PROJECTS

Different ways to add to the Community:

1. The first step is to make sure that we provide the “fishing rod” and not the “fish.”

2. We then train each Group with a Basic Beekeeping course to know the ins and outs of beekeeping. Helping them to understand why beekeeping can be lucrative and easy to do.

3. We provide the Group with the necessary PPE Beekeeping equipment. This is a bee suite, gloves, smoker, hive tool, honey scraper and a bee brush.
